• In the ICS system, coding is performed using two independent coding systems.
• The first (main) consists of 10 independent code elements (pins) on both sides of the key opening, which read the code simultaneously from both sides of the key. Each of the pins is equipped with a false groove to protect the cylinder from tampering. The pins are spring-loaded. Using the correct key, the slots on the outside of all code elements form a straight line with a recessed counter plate, allowing the cylinder plug (rotating element) to be rotated.
• The second coding system in the ICS cylinders consists of 3 spring pins ("pins") with a traditional operating principle. These pins read the vertical edges of the keyway.
• The pins, counter plate and key are made of cupro-nickel, which ensures high production accuracy and durability of the mechanism.

• Protection against damage and breakage
• The principle of ICS cylinder mechanisms completely excludes opening by the "impact method" ("impact").
• The use of 13 active code elements with fake slots and the operation of two different principles make it practically impossible to open the cylinder with the master keys.
• In addition, the intricately shaped keyhole also makes it difficult to choose a pick.
• Standard protection against intrusion methods includes inserts in the housing and a rotating element (plug) of the cylinder.
• The center of the cylinder body has a stainless steel core that prevents the cylinder from being pulled out and broken.
• Protection against unauthorized key copying
• A legal copy of the key is possible only upon presentation of the owner's card and only at authorized centers.
• The complex profile of the blank and the high production accuracy make it difficult to make illegal copies.
• ICS keys have a DesignKey option - this is a key with a new type of plastic head (5 colors of your choice - red, blue, black, yellow, green)
