Sound-insulated doors increase the feeling of comfort by increasing silence and privacy, for example in the bedroom, home office or toilet room. Sound-insulating doors have a sound insulation index of Rw 30 dB and fall into the sound class 25 dB, or normal speech is only slightly audible on the other side of the door. The door also requires a threshold with a step and a box without a seal to meet the sound insulation requirements. Of course, special attention must also be paid to the insulation of the wall construction around the door. The door can also be installed in an existing box.
